- Scapulohumeral Reflex of Shimizu
Searching for a MSR that is innervated by the high cervical cord, the authors discovered the SHR of Shimizu. The localization of the reflex center, its clinical significance and the designation of the SHR (Shimizu) are dealt with in this report.
- Pectoral Reflex
The pectoral reflex is a muscle stretch reflex that occurs with normal neural function. It may be affected by cervical spine dysfunction and shoulder joint problems. Chiropractors may use this infomation to confirm or negate subluxation.
- Scapulohumeral Reflex
The scapulohumeral reflex is a muscle stretch reflex to be differentiated from the scapulohumeral reflex (Shimizu). It can be used to confirm scapular subluxation and C5-C6 subluxation.
